Add to Your Subscriptions and Schemes
An Approved Certifier of Design can have multiple subscriptions to each of the Schemes provided by www.RIAS-regs.co.uk If you are an existing Approved Certifier of Design (Section 6 – Energy) Domestic you might wish to join the Non-domestic equivalent.
Alternatively, you may work with more than one practice or from multiple offices (Approved Bodies are geographically separate) in which case you might want to have the ability to certify the designs of more than one Approved Body.
To have multiple subscriptions in the same Scheme just requires a subscription to be created and all Approved Certifiers of Design pre-qualify to apply for subscriptions to other Schemes and as Module 1 “Roles, Duties and Procedures” is common to all Schemes you don’t have to take that test again.

Certification of Design (Section 6 - Energy) for Domestic Buildings
The Domestic-only membership subscription allows you to create Section 6 certificates for domestic plots etc. Currently, membership is £100pa with a joining fee of £150.
Certification of Design (Section 6 - Energy) for Non-Domestic Buildings
The Non-Domestic scheme membership allows you to create Section 6 certificates for non-domestic buildings.
Certification of Design (Section 6 – Energy) for Non-Domestic Advanced Buildings
The Non-Domestic Advanced scheme membership allows you to create Section 6 certificates for larger non-domestic buildings.
CPD Subscription
This is a free membership aimed at building control officers and other similar professionals. You will have access to CPD materials and other content, but will not be able to create certificates.
